Microsoft Teams could land on Linux in the future

It’s not the first time when this is speculated, but now a Twitter user called unixterminal has shared an update to a Microsoft Teams UserVoice page: A Linux apt repo has also been created, but for now it’s empty. — Hayden (@unixterminal) August 6, 2019 Microsoft Teams is now available on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. The “Stay tuned for more information soon” message from a Microsoft Teams engineer suggest that we will see it in Linux, as well. We’ll just have to wait and see if Microsoft is seriously considering a Teams app for Linux. It’s worth mentioning that Slack, Team’s main competitor, already has a Linux app and this might be just enough to determine Microsoft to create its own app for Linux.
